Meet our team


Troy Langsdale, CPA

Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer

Troy is the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer for ML Healthcare.
Troy graduated with a degree in accounting from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. Troy has served the health care industry for over 20 years. Troy began his career in public accounting with LarsonAllen (which later became CliftonLarsonAllen). Throughout his career in public accounting, Troy dedicated 100% of his time to the long-term care and health care industry by providing accounting services, auditing, tax reporting, cost reporting, financial feasibility, operational, strategic, and strategic capital consulting, as well as board of director development. Troy also served CliftonLarsonAllen as the Southern United States Healthcare and Healthcare Transactions leader.
In 2014, Troy became the Chief Financial Officer of Legend Healthcare, which successfully sold to Ensign Services in May 2016.

Laura Miller, LNFA

President and Chief Operating Officer

Laura is the President and Chief Operating Officer of ML Healthcare where she serves the communities we operate with strategic and excellent quality of care.
Laura Miller has served the long-term care industry for over 28 years. She began her career as an Administrator in a skilled nursing facility. She spent over 16 years with Legend Healthcare as an Administrator and ultimately as the Senior Vice President of Operations. Laura then led the operations transition team to Ensign Services when they acquired Legend Healthcare in May 2016 where Laura remained as an operational resource. Since April 2017, Laura has operated as the Chief Operating Officer of Touchstone Communities, a long-term care company in Texas with over 25 skilled nursing facilities, including 5 Veterans homes.
Laura is known for her hands-on leadership style, strong organization skills, proven ability to develop team members through training and education, teamwork promotion, and a long-held personal belief in creating an environment conducive to retaining great leaders.

Lee A. Rivaz, LNFA

Vice President of Operations

Lee Rivaz brings over 25 years of experience in the long-term care. He began his career in 1995 on the ground level in a small rural facility in Hempstead, Texas. After being precepted by an Independent Owner/Operator, Lee moved to a 214-bed facility in The Woodlands, Texas as an Assistant Administrator for Skilled Healthcare. As a newly licensed Administrator, Lee transferred to Monument Hill Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in LaGrange, Texas. In 2005, Lee joined Legend Healthcare. Lee had the opportunity to open several new facilities for Legend Healthcare. Legend Oaks Northwest Houston was the first of the openings, followed by Legend Oaks West Houston in 2008. To include building a strong management Team, Lee provided direct oversite and leadership to the new Northwest Houston area facilities. He was able to work firsthand with Physicians and Specialists to impact patient/census growth in the Northwest Houston area. In 2017, Lee began serving as Vice President of Operations for Touchstone Communities. Overseeing 9 Communities in Texas, located in Tyler, Gonzales, LaVernia, Pleasanton, Porter, and Houston/Tomball areas before joining ML Healthcare in 2020.

Josephine Girandi, RN, BSN, CDONA, RAC-CT

Vice President of Clinical Services

Josephine is the Vice President of Clinical Services for ML Healthcare where she provides superior and hands on leadership for our clinical professionals.
Josephine graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree – Cum Laude from the Philippines. Josephine has been providing clinical services to the long-term care industry for over 30 years and has served multiple capacities during this time including management and director positions. During her time, Josephine has been instrumental in elevating and excelling in the clinical outcomes for the skilled nursing facilities she serves. Josephine has also served in a regional clinical management role where she oversaw the clinical services of 12 skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers. Josephine’s goals and aspirations are to provide quality nursing care and to lead a team of the best clinical professionals. Josephine believes in education and hands on style in leadership to reach the goal to success. She believes in mentoring and training effective leaders in the industry.

Cindy Peters

Vice President of Development and Strategic Alliances

Cindy oversees development and partnership strategies with Hospitals, Physicians, MCO’s and state healthcare organizations for ML Healthcare.
Cindy has dedicated more than nineteen (19) years to the post-acute industry and was recently the Vice President of Development and Managed Care for Transition Home Healthcare, the home health branch of ML Healthcare. Cindy has worked extensively in the post-acute industry operating as the market and strategic development leader of home health, skilled nursing, long-term acute care and rehabilitation services, and specializes in bringing market solutions and collaborative partnerships to the post-acute providers.

Cindy believes that by working with each other towards value driven quality of care goals, we will create a greater impact in the population we serve in our communities.
