The Springs Healthcare & Rehabilitation

Christy Wallace
Administrator of The Springs Healthcare & Rehabilitation
Since my first visit to a nursing home, I knew that I wanted a career in long term care. I love visiting with the residents and listening to their stories. I started in this business as a CNA long before you had to be certified. I have also been an activity director and assistant administrator. I think it really connects you to your staff when you have truly walked in their shoes. I graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration and I have been a Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator for 30 years. I recently moved to Georgetown, love to garden and my two sons are my pride and joy! It is great to be here at The Springs, and we look forward to taking care of your loved one. Feel free to stop by anytime.

Mary Perdue
Director of Nursing of The Springs Healthcare & Rehabilitation
As a girl growing up in Tennessee I spent a lot of time with my grandparents and I was fortunate enough to be able to help them take care of their parents. I knew then that I loved taking care of people and listening to the stories of their lives and adventures. During high school, I volunteered at a nursing home, visiting seniors and continuing to listen and learn from each person. I knew early on that I wanted to be a nurse. Many of my family members were nurses and it was almost a family tradition. After becoming a nurse and finally working in a nursing facility I worked in various roles until becoming the Director of Nursing. I am married and have two wonderful sons. I have lived in Cedar Park for over 19 years and I am so happy to be part of this community in Cedar Park and at The Springs HealthCare and Rehabilitation. I look forward to meeting each of you.
